Elaine Chan PT, DPT, CTPS

Dr. Elaine Chan is a physical therapist who specializes in the overhead athlete, specifically tennis. She is a Certified Tennis Performance Specialist and has been practicing in the South Bay for over 7 years. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Southern California and Bachelor's of Science degree from UC Irvine. She has worked as a PT for collegiate tennis 

tournaments, most recently Jack Kramer Collegiate Invitational. During her undergraduate years, she was a sports medicine intern for UC Irvine athletics and was assigned to men's volleyball. Dr. Chan has experience in playing collegiate tennis at Mt. SAC in her hometown of Walnut and playing at national level for club sports at UCI and adult leagues for USTA. Outside of physical therapy, she is involved in playing tennis for USTA and Marine League at the 4.5 level and also recently joined pickleball league at South Bay Tennis Center. She is excited to branch out and help the community through education for injury prevention and improve performance in local athletes.
